From Gila Co., Arizona at 1524m.  Smaller rosettes than the type with a greater number of leaves.  The lower half of each leaf is denticulate instead of filiferous.  Beautiful population growing on steep, N-facing, rhyolitic cliffs.

Limited to 2 items per customer.

Cultivation notes:
Kept dry, this species can withstand -15 degrees Celsius, though -12 degrees Celsius is on the saver side. Water early spring (1st weekend of March). Use mineral soil. Keep summer rest. Older plants require not much water. Very young seedlings require some more water, though they can withstand dry. They need space for their root system.
