From Brewster County Texas at 1494 meter in the Glass Mountains. Narrow dagger stems with dark, etched patterning. Probably one of the most hardy populations.

Limited to 2 items per customer.

Cultivation notes:
Kept dry, this species can withstand at least -12 degrees Celsius, but probably lower. Water early spring (1st weekend of March). Use mineral soil. Keep summer rest. Older plants require not much water. Very young seedlings require some more water, though they can withstand dry. They need space for their root system.
